In a nutshell, make sure you ask all the pertinent questions about the product and company and your sponsor. This is a business decision you're making, not an impulse buy. A small amount of work now may save you many thousands of wasted dollars/pounds later! You are possibly tying yourself into a business that may consume many thousands of hours of your time over the coming years... so get it right now!

1. Does the business offer a Significant Point of Difference to other companies?
2. Does the company make their own products or out source them?
3. How long has the company been in business?
4. Who are the directors?
5. What's their experience in MLM or home based business enterprises?
6. Do a google search on the names of the directors for any black marks against them.
7. The person who interested you in the opportunity... do you know them?
8. Are they an experienced network marketer and potentially a good sponsor?
9. Will your sponsor support you and guide you if you have little experience?
10. Have they, or their upline, got a good business/training system to follow?
11. Do they have online training for their team or local meetings organized in your country?
12. Does the company supply training and training venues?
13. Are there training meetings established by the network organisation in your country?

Start Up Capital

Opening any kind of home business, online or offline, requires start up capital and can be an expensive time wasting dead end for you, if you don't do your homework first. You know  NOTHING is FREE in life despite what many websites claim. To build any business, involves spending money so you can make money. Just be aware, that you don't need to spend large sums buying big quantities of product or pay inflated joining/registration fees. In fact most reputable companies don't charge any fee for you to get started. Some charge quite exorbitant amounts.
