In this age of job uncertainty all of us need to think seriously about our future security and how well our current employment is preparing us for our retirement. It is an unfortunate fact of life  we cannot rely on BIG business to look after us in our retirement years any more. Just recently the UK government has announced plans to abandon the compulsory retirement age of 65 because of a £30 billion shortfall in the pension funds! None of us can be really certain what the future holds for us. Every day we hear of companies downsizing and restructuring with the loss of employment for thousands of their workers.

What would you do if you lost your job tomorrow?

Once there used to be long term security and peace of mind for employees  who gave their working lives to the company.  Retirement rewards to match their loyalty and commitment to the company were the accepted norm back then... but no more.

BIG BUSINESS is not interested in YOU. Big business is only interested in the bottom line... PROFIT... to satisfy the board and the shareholders.

The bottom line is money and profit... not people and their long-term welfare!

We NO LONGER put our trust and faith in big business.
